Description - When pre-cooking patties (like beef, chicken or soy) and other food products at a high production rate, it is often desirable to simulate the effect of broiling food products on a grill. This practice is commonly called "char-marking" in the food processing industry.
- Char-marking improves the eye appeal of the product by branding spaced parallel stripes, giving the appearance that the product was broiled over charcoal on spaced grill bars.
