NEW STATE-OF-THE-ART FACILITY
Bunzl Processor Division’s new 175,000 sq. ft. warehouse, production and distribution center is now fully operational and working for you! This facility utilizes advanced software programs and technological advances to optimize work flow, so that all of our customers receive their orders accurately and in an efficient and timely manner. During an eight-hour shift, BPD’s 30 warehouse associates pick, replenish and ship more than 650 customer orders – that’s the equivalent of almost 3,300 products per day. And these same associates have updated workstations to ensure our workers have a safe and ergonomic area in which to work.
At our new location, BPD continues to convert our own film – offering over 300 different sizes and structures of vacuum pouches and shrink bags, all made right here in the USA. And all of our film is stocked in our new secure, climate-controlled production center. This center is safeguarded to prevent outside contaminants to come into contact with our film while it is being produced and stored.
Our new facility also features a “product innovation center” – a place where BPD can develop effective ways to improve upon our existing products, while maintaining a conducive atmosphere in which we can also create exciting new product lines.
